ABET Accreditation

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bilkent University aims to continuously enhance the quality of its education in accordance with international standards. ABET accreditation is an important indicator that supports our department’s commitment to quality and its process of continuous improvement.

Within this process, course content, laboratory work, design projects, student achievements, and program outcomes are regularly evaluated. The aim is to educate students as individuals who possess strong technical knowledge, a developed sense of responsibility, and the ability to produce solutions to contemporary engineering problems.
