A Strong Foundation in Engineering
Our educational program, designed in accordance with international standards, prepares students for the global engineering environment.
Through an educational approach grounded in scientific principles, we develop our students’ ability to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.
Our Educational Vision
One of the primary objectives of our program is to educate engineers who are sensitive to societal needs, capable of making responsible decisions, and prepared to operate on a global scale. Accordingly, communication skills, teamwork, and knowledge of the humanities are important components of the educational process.
Considering the interaction of mechanical engineering with the life sciences and fundamental sciences, particular emphasis is placed on the development of interdisciplinary studies. This approach supports students in becoming versatile individuals who can engage with different fields.
Our department regards the engineers of the future as individuals committed to lifelong learning. In this regard, the program offers a wide range of elective courses to address students’ diverse interests and career goals.
Our Educational Program
The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers academic degree programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
The mission of our department is to provide students with a comprehensive education based on the scientific and applied foundations of engineering and to offer a rich learning environment. In line with this approach, our students are expected to develop a strong foundation in problem solving, design, and communication skills.
The Mechanical Engineering Program provides students with a solid foundation in engineering sciences through courses covering thermo-fluids, mechanics and materials, and dynamics and control. These areas are supported by design and manufacturing courses extending from the component level to the system level, contributing to the development of students’ analytical thinking skills.
