Biography

İlker Temizer received his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Boğaziçi University. He completed his master’s and doctoral degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.

His academic work focuses on computational mechanics, multiscale modeling, material interfaces, and advanced numerical methods. Before joining Bilkent University, he conducted research and academic studies at various international institutions.

His research aims to investigate the mechanical behavior of complex materials and systems by integrating theoretical modeling, computer-aided analysis, and engineering applications.
